Newbies ♡

I can never decide whether Boots 3 for 2 is the best thing to ever happen or the worst. It is during this offer that I cannot physically step foot into Boots without spending more than I intended and buying more items that, to be really honest, I don't need. So here we are I thought I'd share a few bits and bobs I've bought and loved recently.

This shopping trip might have been a success, because I have found the most amazing lip product you will ever find in a drugstore, possibly not, I'm still waiting for the lipstick that sings. The L'Oreal Color Riche L'Extraordinaire has won me over, big time. If you couldn't already tell by the name of my blog - I am a lipstick person. 100% lipsticks biggest fan and by loving this product I almost feel like I am having an affair (don't worry lipstick, I'll never leave you).

Wow I probably should have thought twice about the shiny packaging when taking photos in a dressing gown with a towel on my hair.

I have the shade 600 - Nude Vibrato which is a perfect nude shade for my lip colour and skin tone (I'm paler than Frosty the Snowman for those wondering). It claims to have the "colour intensity of a lipstick, magnifying shine of a gloss and the softness of a balm" which I can confirm as all true. The pigmentation is amazing and I personally find them really long lasting and THEY TASTE SO GOOD. Yum. They are very similar to the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains and as L'Oreal owns Yves Saint Laurent, I'm sure they have a very similar formula as well as having similar packaging. In this round of Gloss vs. Lipstick, the gloss wins.

The invasion of the cream eye shadow has hit and it has hit hard. Who knew this little pot of oh so wonderful joy would cause such havoc in my life (a.k.a. spending all my money on them). Ok I know I am 2000 and late with the Maybelline Color Tattoo's (£4.99) but they are so flipping good I couldn't not include them. After buying 5, in one go, I think it's fair to say I feel an obsession coming on but the quality and price of these beauties is just too much to say no to. I currently have 5 Color Tattoo's which I have attempted to swatch below, and 2 MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots (£15), however my shades of these are so nudey dudey there was no point swatching.

Niiiice uniform there Annie. TOP TO BOTTOM: Timeless Black, Pink Gold, Pomegranate, On and On Bronze, Permanent Taupe.

And now we talk about the other obsession. The secret one, the one I'm in denial about. I mean it could be more embarrassing, it could be statues of feet or old deodorant cans. But nope, Company magazine has my heart (and soul, and mind). As you can see, I have a fair few of these now, a fair few that started in January 2012, the moment they revamped their style from glossy covers to paper and everything just became so. much. cooler. There's not much more to say about this magazine except for if you don't buy it, then do. Its quirky fonts and vintage effect pictures just make me "ooo" and "ahh" at every flick of the page and the way its written is so entertaining, I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't look forward to each months.

So that pretty much rounds it up, they are my current newbies (and oldies) that I am loving, all of this along with the Benefit They're Real mascara, which I will talk about in a blog post coming up. Let me know what you're favourites are and what you think of my blog? It's been 1 week since I started and I'd love to know peoples opinions on how I could improve, but until then Adios Amigos!
